Catching up!

Sorry for my absence. I always have great intentions to blog, but it never seems to happen. Life has been crazy. Mainly because we found out that we have baby #3 due in June! So we will have 3 kids 3 and under. Bob will be 18 months old and Anne will be 3 1/2. Prayers are welcome :-) I did not feel great during the first trimester. I was exhausted all day long - sleeping every chance I could. Luckily, I seem to have turned the corner. Anne, Bob and I have had shared colds/bronchitis/stomach bug all in the last month. We seem to be on the mend and I have fingers crossed that we will be healthy for Christmas!

Here are some pictures from Halloween. Anne was Cinderella.

Bob was an elephant. It is the same costume Anne wore her first Halloween.

A rare picture of me and Will

Anne was jealous of the pictures I was taking of Bob. So I had to take a picture of her with her finger in her mouth too!

Checking sis out

That's all for now. Hopefully it won't be so long until I blog again!

Bob turns ONE!

Hard to believe this sweet boy turned one last week!
Was this really one whole year ago?!
We celebrated Bob with dinner at our house. I found cute invites on etsy with a vintage carnival theme.
We thought a popcorn machine would be fun.
And we were correct! It was a hit. Yummy movie theatre style popcorn. We might have to purchase one of these to have all the time. How great would that be?
Anne and her friends had a blast. Especially tickling baby Garrett's dad.
Bob was excited to have baby G there.

Until I remembered to put his hat on.

We love you Bob!
Bob at 12 months: 23lbs 31" He is a mama's boy and loves for me to hold him and snuggle. He loves his big sister. She can make him belly laugh and provides him constant entertainment (and torment). He started walking 3 weeks ago. He is getting more stable but still crawls occasionally. If I am not holding him he is into EVERYTHING. In a room full of toys, he can manage to find the one thing he shouldn't get into. Outlets, cabinets, toilets, etc. He is exhausting. Good thing he is so darn cute. I love him more than words can describe!

Happy Friday!

Sitting at the table for lunch today, I decided to try and snap some pictures with my iphone. Anne immediately said "Nooo Mom! Take Bob's picture instead!".
So I did. Sweet boy. He is always starving these days. He can eat and eat.
But happy boy quickly turned into this as I was telling his sister to eat her spinach nuggets which she had soaked in applesauce. Yum. So, that ended lunch.
I somehow convinced Anne to sit down on the kitchen floor and let me take her picture with Bob. Sweet babies.
They adore each other.
We headed outside and that made everyone happy!
Anne loves to hop from stone to stone
Stopping to check out bugs
Big girl
More jumping!
"Ta-da!"
How cute is she?!
Then we headed back inside where they played "ring around the rosie" on the floor.
Then Bob followed Anne over to the stairs. He is trying to figure out how to climb up them as she yell's "No Bob"!
But he succeeded... Uh oh!
Happy Friday!

Ireland: Part 3

After a week on the coast in Kinsale we headed north to Dublin. Our German friends, Steffi and Guido, were able to join us for this leg of the trip. It is always nice to spend time with them... Once we arrived we immediately headed out to check out the city.

That evening we were able to meet up with Glen's cousin Lizzie and her family who live just outside of Dublin. We had a fabulous dinner in their garden.

I loved this old Castle that is being turned into a resort. The trees were square shaped. It reminded me of Alice in Wonderland.
