Ireland: Part 1

We had a wonderful trip to Ireland with Will's family. We started off in Kinsale - a small village located in County Cork. We stayed in a condo with great views overlooking the harbor. Each morning we would walk downstairs to "Vista", a local restaurant with the best homemade scones. It was a nice way to start the day!

Kinsale Market. We picked up roasted chicken, potatoes, fresh bread, cheese and desserts for dinner one night in the condo.
Jim Edwards. One of the many wonderful restaurants we ate dinner at.
Most days we loaded up in the transport with our driver, Eugene, to see the surrounding sights.

Summer rewind

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. We have been quite busy. Where to begin... We bought a new house! And began renovations. More to come on that later. I have many projects in the works!
We went to the Beach with my family over Memorial Day. It was a great week and Anne loved playing with her cousins. We had beautiful weather, but being on the beach every day with a 6 month old and 2 1/2 year old meant I did not take pictures like I should have. But I did catch this smile from Bob lounging by the pool one afternoon!
Then we went to Ireland with the Pringle's. For 11 days. With no kids. (thank you to my wonderful parents who kept them for us!) It was an amazing trip. The most beautiful country side I have ever seen. More pictures to come...
As soon as we got home from Ireland we moved into the new house. Literally one day later. Jet-lagged with sick babies no less. Then a few days later we loaded up the kids and went down to Point Clear for the 4th of July. Here are our annual pictures in front of the old Oak tree at The Grand...
Lastly, Bob was Baptized last weekend. A very special day! Didn't he look precious? He was a very good sport (unlike his big sis who had to be taken out of the ceremony. I think the crowd overwhelmed her).
I better get back to unpacking boxes. Hopefully it won't be so long until I blog again!
